one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish...

happy mother's day

2009 mother's day fall on today!

It was April 15 in Chinese calender yesterday. When I woke up in late night, I saw the moon light penetrated the window glass and cast in my bed. So calm so clear and bright.

The moon reminded me my mother, I went to my garden when my mother sit near the stone table, coughing, during her last days. She stayed in the hospital where I found for her in this city for less than a month, finally she gave herself up, went back home and passed away in the local hospital in my hometown. I still the day was June the 24, or May 9 in Chinese calendar...

Two years simply passed away with my mother's pass-by. In this mother's day I miss my mother and hope her all well there.

Again I appreciate the girl who sent flowers to my mother when she was in the hospital, the first ever and last bunch of flowers she received...

Love yourself, love people around you, especially your mother......

...

I went the hospital today

I hate and try to avoid hospitals. However, for different reasons, i have to go to the hospital. And I did it today. I went to the hospital not for illness but for medical tests, hepatitis, liver function, chest x-ray. All the tests cost me around 200 yuan, but the report proves that I am healthy.

The whole story was not very bad. But a scene in the doctor's office made me very sad. A man of 44 years old was diagnosed stomach cancer. His wife, I guess, just could not hold her tears in the doctor's office. The scene reminded me the scene when my mother was diagnosed lung cancer about 23 months ago. The whole family was just clapsed! My mother passed away within less than two month since she was diagnosed cancer...

I hope the man will recover, if possible, or suffer less from the illness.

Three events I witnessed on the street

As usual, I went to the super market to buy food this Saturday morning. At the exit, I saw two young people, a boy and a girl, quarrelling. According to the girl, they were engaged. It seemed that she was trying to persuade the boy to change his ideas on something. The boy then went to the other way and the girl stayed where she was silently. Terrible silence!

About 20 meter ahead, there was a clinic. At the entrance, I met another young couple, a boy and girl of about 20 years old. The girl stopped the boy at the entrance and said,"you don't need to go inside now..." Apparently, she was trying to abort a baby. The poor boy stood where he was in silence...

I walked on the street until I caught a bus. At a bus stop, a mother and a small boy of about 2 years old were running after the bus. Fortunately, they finally got the bus. On the bus, the mother told to a woman sitting near her that the boy asked her to wait for him when they were running. When she was telling the story, happiness appeared on her face. As a father of a eight-month old boy, I really shared her happiness in my heart.

For the first time, my boy had a hair cut this morning. According to his grandpa, today is a propitious day for a hair cut. To be honest, I don't appreciate the barber very much since he was too inpatient when he cut my hair. Thus I never went back to his shop after my only haircut there.
