九零年代初，U2举办名为「Zoo TV」的世界巡回演唱，Bono开始在演唱

1993年的「Zooropa」巡回演唱，Bono又扮演了新角色 Mr. MacPhisto──Mac指
涉的是麦当劳──这表示歌手的本质就是商品；Phisto则意指Mephistopheles，
让浮士德出卖灵魂的魔鬼名字。
