Generally, I'm pretty well here, though my bio-clock has not fixed yet, I feel asleep at 8pm and wake up at 5am :( But I feel comfortable.......at least, WO HAI HUO ZHE.....

Laptop is a problem, I don't have visa card which can pay online. But many thanks to Plato; he lends his card to me, and I believe I'll have one soon. So I believe I'll be able to login in MSN soon to see my dear friends! Also thanks to leemars for giving me his configuration, I'm a hardware XIAOBAI =p

Phone is another problem. I don't have SSN now, so I can't apply for a long-term plan, which can save a lot of money. And I even haven't received my debit card now, which means I can't apply for a short-term plan@@ Okay, I only have a prepaid account at At&t...I think I'll end it when I have debit card...So I'll tell my phone number later =p

My home is a single-room apt near CS, so it is very small and expensive compared with popular-Chinese apts >< The most inconvenient aspect is that one floor shares a kitchen, which is VERY far from my room ~><~ 

I met Jerry Zhu. I believe he is a very nice guy...though seems a little pushy. But this might not be a bad thing for me...I found I'm efficient when someone pushes me -.-b Is this JIAN? @@

出来后去找了hh，其实我不是想找hh告别，我是想去找hj小朋友告别，结果hj还不在，然后跟hh胡扯了会，发现新组的女队有个挺PP的，MM质量上升不少啊……hh居然还yy着我参加wisc队去final，不过2010年final复旦海外游子队汇集哈尔滨，听起来的确很美好，皑皑，但是，既然已经做了研究尼，应该要放下当年的残念了啊……
此去他乡，一切都要从头开始，曾经的辉煌，曾经的荣誉，曾经的引以为豪，都留在了祖国，我带走的，只是我的脑子和我的心。我从不认为我是个事业心多么强的人，我只是为了我的幸福而奋斗。曾经，我以为能去所好大学、好研究生院l就是为今后的幸福打下坚实的基础，所以我之前的奋斗都是为了这些目标而努力；而如今，我看到了影响幸福更多的因素。所以，在今后的道路上，我可能会更多折衷些其他的因素，而不仅仅朝众人眼中的“牛”的定义付出全部精力……

zt 为复旦土著，83 年生，1.68 米，本科数学系信息与计算科学，现
在计算机科学与工程系（已更名为计算机科学学院）攻博第四年。自认
为对数学、计算机等颇有兴趣，争取按时毕业之际出国继续深造或者在
国内找一份 IT 行业的工作。性格比较随和，无不良嗜好。现在主要研
究 machine learning，也就是为一些特定的数据建立一些模型，用的
方法比较偏 statistics，可以应用到不少领域，如 computer vision，
natural language processing，data mining 和 bioinformatics 里。
本 id 曾担任过 TeX 版版主。平时打乒乓球、长跑较多。偶尔郁闷了吹
吹口琴。

1. zt 业余也读唐诗宋词，只是记性不好，背不出长篇大段的缠绵情诗
向 mm 表白，也吼不出气壮山河、惊天地泣鬼神的豪言壮语。一日 zt
偶见一句“多思出真谛，唯勤得桂冠”却忘记是谁所说，请麻烦帮 zt 找
到说这个话的人。附本科毕业诗一首。

2. zt 是 Linux 的粉丝，时常鼓动同学装 Linux，因为很多时候 Linux
里面有很多好玩有用的工具，比如有一款曾经叫 Gaim 的聊天工具，可
以用它同时连接 QQ、MSN、google talk 等，如果您想认识 zt，可以
将 sigmastudio@gmail.com 加入你的 google talk。当然现在的 Linux
并不是尽善尽美的，比如 Gaim 支持的聊天功能就比较有限。但是如果
看过 Linux 下华丽的 3D 桌面，丰富的应用程序，更重要的是它们几乎
都是 free 的，也许你也会心动吧！请问，光华上讨论如何玩 Linux 的
版面是？

3. zt 爱好摄影。虽然也不怎么懂什么是摄影，但是很喜欢拿着相机拍
点诡异的东西，比如丁达尔现象：

俗话说相机如 mm，这里就说说 zt 心目中的相机吧。zt 对相机的要求
很简单，就是能让 zt 适应并用它拍出好的照片。不要求有性感的大光
圈，也不要求焦段齐全什么都可以拍，更不需要高像素能将所有细节一
览无余，有某个特点就会获得 bonus。拍照的人和相机需要磨合，只要
相机的状态足够好，拍照的人就会挖空心思来拍。我相信两者互不限制
对方能力的发挥乃至互相激励对方，那将是最好的组合。什么是丁达尔
现象呢？
